Long before cafes appeared on every corner of this trendy up and coming suburb, Chef/Owner Billy Smith and partner and General Manager Ken Villa opened Cafe New Deli. After a successful following as a Cafe and Specialty Cakes shop, Billy and Ken set their sights on opening evenings. Winning The Best of Marrickville Business Award in 2012 with the Prize of a Makeover, Billy and Ken decided to take on a new name to rebrand all of their ventures under one banner-Forage.
